ValjuncoDuring our family vacation at Valjunco, we found it to be an excellent base for exploring the scenic Camino de Santiago. The hotel’s location allowed us to journey seamlessly between Mansilla and Ponferrada, with quick access to charming spots like Leon and Astorga, making it convenient when traveling with children. As an architect with a keen eye for design, I appreciated the blend of contemporary comforts and homely aesthetics the hotel offered. We utilized the Iberdrola electric car chargers nearby, which was extremely beneficial for our family's travel needs. Though we rose early to start our Camino adventures, I can still recall the delightful breakfast we managed to enjoy. The staff were accommodating and ensured our young ones were comfortable, providing high chairs and a welcoming atmosphere. If you're a family seeking a spacious environment with activities close by and child-friendly amenities, Valjunco makes for a practical choice. The ability to explore the beautiful landscapes and historical treasures around the area truly enriched our experience.
